POWER ballads only here, no sap ballads. I'm not talking "Heaven" by Warrant, I'm talking "Alone Again", "Beyond the Realms of Death", and "Watch The Children Pray".

I would have to go with Watch the Children Pray. You don't have to choose out of those, I just like that one a lot.

Gary Hughes & Ten are the absolute masters of the power ballad. A full 25% of their songs are brilliant heavy ballads, with another 25% being the unfortunate sappy variety. (Also 25% good hard rockers, and 25% those medieval epic type songs- for better and worse this is their formula and they stick with it through thick and thin. Sometimes it works for me and sometimes it doesn't).
