| The only Evergrey disc I've got is RECREATION DAY, but I dig that one immensely. I just haven't gotten around to checking out the rest of their catalog. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Great band. I don't have anything before Recreation Day, though. In fact, I traded off Recreation Day because it was missing the back art. So I only have the latest two. But yeah, I really dig these guys. And people say the early stuff is better. I tend to find that those opinions are just too trendy for my tastes, but who knows. I do really dig the new stuff. |

| Evergrey are a great band. The Dark Discovery was the first disc I heard by them and was hooked. Recreation Day is probably my favorite Everrey cd but all their releases are good in my opinion. | |

| Anyone have the special editon of The Inner Circle with the three acoustic versions of some of the Recreation Day tracks? IMO Recreation Day makes an even better acoustic song (not an easyt task because that track is pretty killer). | |

They are all very good - not one letdown. My 3 favorites are Ultimatum, Wuthering Heights and Rob Rock. I really would like to do another comp swap again.

| Based on this topic and my dumb-luck, I found Monday Morning Apocalypse in a used bin and picked it up. Never heard the band, but I figured what the hell. I'll be listening to it later today and posting my thoughts. I know you will all be sitting on the edge of your seats waiting for that. | |

Actually, I'm interested as I'm a fan of the album... Having listened to it twice today, I'll say it's not bad. I can't say that I was blown away, but it was definately heavier that I expected it to be. I've never heard a note of them before today, but for some reason, I had the idea that they were more epic and keyboard- oriented. The keys weren't as prominenet as I thought and for me, that's a good thing. I don't like my metal too fluffy. It will be in my cd case for the rest of the week, so it will probably gets some more spins. At this point, however, I'm not sure that I'd rush out to get more of their stuff. Decent, but not great.

Decent, but not great. well there other cds use more keys to make for a more atmospheric feel then to dominate the music. MMA imo is there weakest cd but its still great, so that tells u something about the guys. I would look in Recreation Day and The Inner Circle next..
