What INDIVIDUAL is the epitome of "metal"?

Yes, its very aggressive but its not a metal form of music. I dont care if they mix metal with industrial( i just dont listen to it) but you can not call a guy like BLACKIE LAWLESS a real epitome of metal because K.F.D. I dont think its a totaly bad album but those industrial sounds can not be done by somebody calles de epitome of metal. KING DIAMOND never did anything like that, just pure metal. Just my opinion of course.

KFD might have had industrial elements, but it's still a metal album. therefore WASP is & always has been metal. therefore, so has Blackie.

and King Diamond does indeed rule. he wears less make up than those girly hard rock bands of the 80's.

One thing that made KING DIAMOND so special for his fans is the horror make-up. It have always been very important in his horror concept and stage shows. I would not like KD without his make-up because it so special. Same with the band HALLOWEEN, without make-up they would look strange and they would loose their horror/shock metal roots.
