| This has gotten on my nerves for a while, so here I go:
there is NO NEED for all the "Dude, check my haul" threads" We have a sticky thread specifically for new additions and such, so use it.
that is all. _________________ "Oh man, I need TV? When I got T Rex"

oopsi forget youre an administraotor It's a valid gripe, my friend. I don't see the need for people to have their own specific thread for new purchases. Is it a control thing or something? |

| Yip I have to agree these threads are annoying, also there's one other little thing that probably only annoys me, it's in the collectors corner thread, why do people sometimes put in what they have "Ordered" ? I mean put them on the list when you recieve them, not when you order them. Just me ? . |

. I agree that starting a 'haul' thread is unnecessary, but why should it matter if I post the cds I just forked out the cash for online as opposed to when they arrive in my mailbox? I always post them when I order them as THAT is when I bought them ... not when they arrive. |

Just me ? . I've only had like 1 cd not make it to me. what's wrong with putting what you ordered. there's a 99% chance your going to get it.

| I guess it doesn't bother me all that much I like to see what people get. I guess it's no different when somebody posts about a band and that particular post was maybe mentioned a month or 2 months ago and peeps here bring up the url to those old threads, it's no difference IMO! Maybe those peeps were not here a couple months ago to view those. So they make another thread about it. Wargod48 NP: Not Fragile - Scratch The Surface | |

Maybe those peeps were not here a couple months ago to view those. So they make another thread about it. But there's a search function. Some people here like to discuss music, not just post "Awesome band" or click on the smiley. No one likes to repeat themselves every time someone creates a new thread. Just search for the band/album and bump the thread. That is far more interesting, don't you think? Keeping a discussion going rather than making people repeat things? As for Locky's comment, I sort of agree. The only reason why I'd rather people post when they receive something is because then they can discuss it. I know some don't like discussion in that thread, but without discussion, what's the point of it? I'd like to be able to ask someone about a CD they bought and discuss it with them rather than them go, "I don't have it yet." Minor gripe, though; not sure I'd ever have brought it up myself. But since Locky did... |

| Just maybe some don't like the search function, I for one could care less for it. I think if an individual is gonna post or start a thread they are gonna do it regardless if it has been discussed before. This is all I'm gonna say on the subject just keep the metal flowing! Wargod48 | |

Wargod48 Then those new threads should be deleted or locked. The search function is there too filter redundancy. But hey, be redundant. I don't care. |

Well if this is the case, I for one vote for a Nightwish sticky thread, and an exclusive thread as well. All in favor say "Aye". |

But since Locky did... I sort of agree with Locky too, but it's no biggie. The reason I don't lke endless discussions in the collector and playlist threads is that they get long enough already, without the "extra" posts", and the bands/albums can be discussed in seperate thread anway. _________________

Well, I don't think long discussions belong, and they're normally not much more than short comments that really don't justify their own threads, you know? I can't believe you guys shorten that thread all time. Isn't that a pain? I've seen recent purchases threads over 500 pages on some forums. Haha. |

Yea I'd like to ask the odd question about a "CD" when I see someone has recieve one, but I have held off of asking due to maybe getting pulled up over it. I agree with you Eyesore, they don't deserve their own thread simply due to you wanting to ask a question about an item (they talk about not wanting to clutter up the boards). pity they got rid of all those collectors pages, it would have been nice to see it make the end of the year, the playlist could loose 20 pages though I think. . |
