If anybody's interested in another "killer kid" horror movie from the same era, I recommend 1981's "Bloody Birthday," which is way more competently made than "The Pit."
Like "The Pit," it's also on Tubi, I just added it to my watch list to re-visit sometime soon.
Sharp eyed viewers may recognize future MTV comedienne Julie Brown (the "Just Say Julie" and "The Homecoming Queen's Got a Gun" one, not the "Downtown Julie Brown" one) in a supporting role in "Bloody Birthday." And yes, we see her naked.

All of a sudden Tubi ain’t working. I can still watch on my phone I guess… might be the HDMI connection.
