How do you have the space for all the CDs you buy? Do you get them new or from trades?

Well, right now everything is in totes. We bought a new house, but then the price of wood skyrocketed so I haven't built anything yet. But eventually an entire finished basement will house everything. I think there's enough room.

But I mostly bargain shop these days. Like those Chevelle CDs were new, but about $5 apiece. I do a lot of shopping on Discogs too, lots of cheap stuff. I rarely go to actual record stores anymore.

Hilarious, though, that people are still surprised by how many CDs I buy, but I'm buying WAAAAAY less than I used to. I used to buy like three times what I buy now. Pre-wife and kids, though.

I've bought a lot lately, though, because I won $2,000 in a tournament.

The basement makes sense. I was thinking you at least had a whole den or something with shelves. Beware of those hurricanes! Remember when Sebastian Bach lost everything from Irene? Flooding is a problem.

Thankfully my yard slopes away from the house. Would need an epic flood to cause damage.

I've bought quite a few CDs from this guy. Apparently his father died, had a collection of 25,000 CDs, so he's been slowly adding them throughout the year.

All those CDs, minus the two I mentioned, cost me $40.48 plus shipping.
