My esteemed Metal Brothers of the jury, I ask you to picture if you will, a young Sentinel walking 5 miles on a hot Saturday in May to the record shop to buy the new Judas Priest album, Ram It Down. Please consider the opening shrill shriek of the title track, one that sets the tone for the whole album, Next, a song titled "Heavy Metal and sung by the Metal God himself. Aster that, you enter the "Love Zone" and realize you are a "Rocker" through and through.
Side 2 brings us the "Blood Red Skies" an epic track with soaring vocals that fits nicely along side other epic Priest tracks of the past like "Victim of Changes" and "Beyond the Realms of Death" and vividly paints the picture of man v. machine in a not too distant dystopian future. I implore you to please look past the remaining contenders and choose Ram It Down and be a true "Monster of Rock."
Thank you for your time.
And remember to "Ram It Down"

Ram it Down all the way. One of Priest's heaviest albums. Halford’s vocals are outstanding on this album.

I like your ranking so far.
I got Redeemer here as well. A really nice record with a touch old school production to separate it from all the modern metal albums. I really enjoy this one. And it's got so much to digest. If you got the two disc version, there's a total of 18 songs! It's a different listening experience every time I have it in the car (my commute is only 25 minutes so I skip tracks a lot).

Redeemer is truly a great album. I also own the double cd edition and the bonus tracks are very good.

If we did that, we would’ve done it a long time ago.

Ram It Down is running away with this one. 15 voters already so I don't think there is going to be much more movement. Might as well end this early and make this the quickest poll.

The production is terrible on Redeemer of Souls. Tipton was the producer. Firepower was 100% better with Tom Allom and Andy Sneap involved.

I really like the production on Redeemer of Souls. Maybe because it doesn't sound so modern and samey. It's easy on the ears, alive, and stands out among an army of polished, lifeless, loud guitar walls of today's metal.
The guitars could be a tad louder (especially Tipton's), but I think I like it the way it is. I don't feel exhausted after listening to Redeemer.
