Norman Greenbaum - Spirit in the Sky Greats Hits.
Smile

Is is just that track 15 times?

LOVE THOSE PICKS!!!  Except for the Elton John album which I have not heard.  Do love Greenbaum, my moms fav tune [ North Dakota dairy maid....], but nothing he ever did sounded anything like Spirit in the sky.  Would be interesting to check out his story.  Especially, since I am assuming here, he is Jewish, correct?  Let me tell ya my Brian Adams story, quick.
Hanging with my bro stationed in Darmstadt in 1990.  Wall just came down.  East Germans everywhere. Went to an outdoor festival with Winger, Brian Adams, and ZZ Top in Frankfort.  Drank and drank and drank, which is the custom, until we got there.  Got upfront, confused security with distractions, jumped the barrier and got right up front.  "Heaven" is playing.  Sweaty, SWEATY East German ladies rockin out with arms outstretched.  So, shaving the arm pits never crossed their minds, apparently.  So, a gallon of booze and 1000's of unshaved sweaty East German ladies armpits did a number on me.  Flash forward to a lot of vomit later, my brother found me passed out under his car 4 hours after the festival ended.  He almost ran me over.  I kinda remember hearing some ZZ Top during stumble-time.  But, I still have the ticket, so I know I was there.....

It’s interesting. Anytime I’m somewhere far off......all music sounds great

I can’t believe, Uncle, you’ve been to 30 countries ! That’s incredible.

Me, I’d take 5 CDs that I’m not quite familiar with....but that I know rock.
To give a better listen - and learn better the various nuisances and lyrics.
Most likely, one CD would have to be Thin Lizzy.
