No, not an Island thang. That always seems too permanent. Just 5 hard rock/ various albums that you can listen to on a daily basis without ever getting bored. Here are mine [btw? These 5 albums go with me throughout my world travels. Been to over 30 countires. These albums came with me every step of the way]:

Beatles White Album.
I don't know if I have others I would be willing to play every day. Maybe classical music like Bach. Concerto in A Minor.

For repeated listens something more challenging than popular music is required.
This thing always works (Carmina Burana):

BTW, that's a good choice with Ned's Atomic Dustbin. I have several albums by that band including that one and I haven't listened to them in forever. I need to change that.

I had the God Fodder cassette back in the day. It was a great time for alternative music back then. Two bass guitars!

I certainly remember Cracker; I have at least 3 or 4 albums by that band. Can't say I've ever heard of Paw though.

My "buddy", Steve the Beav, yanked my shorts down in the middle of the crowd at a Cracker show at First Ave. This was during my commando period, too....

I'm going to steer away from anything remotely considered metal, which are a lot of these hard rock picks by people:
1. Bryan Adams: Reckless 2. Elton John: Tumbleweed Connection 3. Doobie Brothers: What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits 4. Huey Lewis & the News: Sports 5. Prince: Purple Rain/Tie The Outfield: Play Deep

Interesting choice of Tumbleweed Connection. "Where to Now St. Peter?" is an amazing song.

I was spinning my Elton John comp today while I was working.
He's actually one of my favorite artists; I've seen him live 5 times (more than any other artist) and while some of his 80s stuff sounds a little dated now, most of his 70s output is still solid.
