Savatage, Wake of Magellan - CD
That could just be my favourite album ever.
Gave up on them after Streets came out because I hated it with a passion. Someone, probably you convinced me to check out this one, so I did a while ago and liked it. Took me a couple years, but figured I'd buy it.

I think I hate U2. Never been sure. All those were 99 cents, so I figured I'd give them a shot. Though it's probably not the best way to dig into a band, grabbing singles with a bunch of weird b-sides and whatnot.

Haha I'm such a dumb ass. I picked up that Savatage CD Wake of Magellan the other day, and that's not the one I listened to on YouTube and liked. It was Poets and Madmen I heard, so after I realized my mistake, I just ordered it about five minutes ago. This Wake of Magellan CD ain't too bad either, but if memory serves I really liked Poets a lot better when i listened to it. Guess I'll find out next week.

Copied from Facebook (in case you already read it)...
Way back around 1996, I was in a record shop in Little Rock, Arkansas, and I spied an Infectious Grooves mask hanging on the wall (the one on the left in the picture). I asked how much it cost, and the owner said, "Nothing. You want it, take it." Which I gladly did.
It's just a simple promotional item, but I've been looking for the other four ever since. Roughly 25 years later I finally found them, and ironically enough, just the four I was missing. Someone on eBay was selling all but the one I acquired so long ago.
Wonder if he ever lived in Arkansas...
Not an album, but still cool.

Nifty.

Unfortunately, no. It's a demo collection from 1979-1980 and one demo from 1983. The 1979 recordings are live and sound like they were recorded on a boom box under 6 feet of water. The 1980 and 83 demos are from a studio and sound fine. Eleven of the 15 tracks are sung by Clive Archer before Cronos switched to vocals so it's interesting to hear those. Unless you are a super Venom fan you can probably pass on this.

Those are definitely not a good representation of OLD U2. I really like albums like "Boy", "War" and even "Achtung Baby". Other than that? Not so much.
I have those 3 albums but other than that I only have a 2 disc Best Of collection and that's all the U2 I need. I think U2 is one of the most overrated bands in rock history.
