I picked up a few items over the weekend that should arrive some time this week.

I ordered the Night Demon album recently, and now it's only $5. It was only a few dollars more when I bought it, but still...I could have held out.

And NEH Records has always had a $5 sale. Updated weekly. Recently they've been limiting the stuff they show, for some reason, like it won't go past M or something. Weird. Always great stuff there, though.

Yea, I got burned on one too, but by hesitating. The Lucifer II album was only $5 a few weeks ago, but now it's up to $9. I waited and now I'm paying for it. Oh well, live and learn.

Living Things dropped off the face of the planet back in 2010. They'd been planning to release (or maybe record) a triple album and reissue their early demos, but then—poof!—they were gone. All their websites save for their Facebook page disappeared as well.

The singer, Lillian Berlin, turned up sometime later under his given name, Lawrence Rothman, identifying now as non-binary with NINE alter agos, and playing some dreadful kind of pop music, singing in the weirdest voice. Not my thing at all.

Anyway, in 2017, a random post appeared on the Living Things Facebook page promising new music. That never happened. Same thing in 2018. Finally, the other day, they released a new EP. Out of nowhere.

Only three songs, but they're just as great as their older stuff. Such a brilliant band. Check them out!
