I’m a fan of Heaven. Australian band. Well, I wanted to know when they did a cover of Bob Dylan’s Knocking on Heaven’s Door. It was 1985. They even named the album that. Quality release. That’s when I saw he passed away from cancer at age 60. Thought I’d pass that along. I always thought he was one of those rare tough guy singers. Not the best or strongest of voices - but attitude all over the place !

I remember them, had a song or two on ZRock if I remember right. 60 is too young.

I don't think I've ever heard of Heaven but as DH said, 60 is way too young.

One interesting thing = AC DC considered him for Bon’s replacement - way back when. He auditioned and George Young wanted him in. Harry Vanda too. But the band was in London - and Brien Johnson auditioned ! Lol ! AC DC got the top dog for sure ! What a wild few years they were,
