The Rods: new song!

Sounds like classic Rods, I like it.

The new album "Brotherhood of Metal" is expected to be released early June. Can't wait .

I have always loved The Rods - and David Feinstein’s solo CDs.
I would say since 1982.....not to mention the side projects.
I would have to say them - and Girlschool - have been my most collected band.
And there’s the Dio / cousin thing.....
Carl Canedy has always been my favorite metal drummer - hands down.
He even produced some cool albums - of other bands.
As long as their alive and kicking - me too !

I just found out they have two songs....that were on previous Feinstein releases.
“ Devil made me do it “ - a very cool metal/devil tune.
“ Smoke on the Horizon “ - another hot song.
I’m looking forward to this.

This is the first CD I have ever preordered.
Showed up. Partied to it. David is getting up there in age - but still delivers.
His voice is getting more calm and direct - obviously weathered. Ha !
Evil In Me - is done up exceptional. 3 songs are from his previous solo albums.
A cool gesture, as if to say, RODS have the last say. Keyboard musician is on it.
I kinda wished Gary sang some songs....a remake of Devil’s Child - would of been super.
Anyways, has a Manowar vibe through out it too. Song “ 1982 “ is a fun one.
Saxon has a song “ Back in 79 “ - along those lines.
“ Devil Made Me Do It “ remake is faster and cooler.

I hear a lot of Saxon on this album, those galloping riffs and even the vocal phrasing. Good stuff.
