Let us know how that Meatloaf is. I gave up on him a looooong time ago but his first several releases were golden.

Personally I don't care for it but to be fair, I really haven't given it repeat listens. As I'm sure you know, Tull albums generally take multiple spins to "sink in" (at least most of the time). Multiple reviews I read of "Homo Erraticus" described it as a "Tull album" despite it going under Ian's solo catalogue. After one spin I didn't hear enough to revisit it to see if that's true or not but my initial impression was that it didn't sound like a Tull album nor was it in the style of Anderson's other recent solo outings so it sort of left me cold. I'm sure I'll visit it again when I get bored with music - which is usually when I find myself digging up Tull/Anderson albums.

I enjoyed it, it as pompous (in a good way), over the top production, his voice is starting to weaken but he is singing in his range. Not his best album but if you see it cheap enough grab it, thou I doubt its an album that will get many repeated listens

It's excellent. Great variety of tunes and stage banter. There's a cool medley of AC/DC and Sabbath tunes at the end of "Break the Chain" and the sound is top notch.

Yeah Tull albums do take repeated listens to appreciate the Anderson and company eccentricities. I have yet to hear a Jethro Tull album that was crap though Under Wraps comes close.
One thing that puzzles me is why after all this time Martin Barre is no longer with Tull (as far as I know)? Seems strange since he has been on 90% of the Jethro Tull discography.

Lizzy Borden - Menace to Society (Orig. Lp) Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance (Orig. Lp)
Honestly, both are pretty beat up, but they play fine. I paid next to nothing for the pair and each has the original merch forms, which I think is hella cool. Plus, faves like these I will buy (or already have) brand new and don't want to play them too much. I already have the JP as a picture disc, so I ain't playing that.

I enjoyed it. I don't own any of his other albums, and I only own three Tull albums. Not sure why, as I do enjoy his music quite a bit. Either way, I can't really compare this to anything else. I did dig it, but I only listened to it once. I'm not really in a prog mood at the moment, you know.

New jams.
Ditchwater - Strong Now Stained Sonya Kitchell - This Storm
Fun fact: I designed the album cover for the original version of that Ditchwater album. I didn't think it ever came out, though, because the band had split up. (They split up a dozen times back in the day due to band members quitting, getting fired, or in the case of this album, the singer holding up a hotel and robbing them and subsequently getting arrested. Haha.). But I guess it did come out at some point. I missed it. Go figure.
That above is the new artwork (my old Photoshop files of the original are corrupted, so they couldn't use it—bummer). This is my original artwork:
Pretty lame font, with the gradient and such, but I was just learning Photoshop at the time. Haha.

Neat. Better than most of the stuff Frontiers craps out.
