- Cool reviews, Lari. I agree on PowerWolf's take on the marketing.
+1 Good read, Lari. I have to track down those Powergod discs. I read of them on NLTM a few years back and had forgotten about them.

That looks like it would be quite a track list. Make it happen.

Judas Priest – Painkiller Yes – Heart of the Sunrise Watchtower – Meltdown Fates Warning – Without a Trace Now that's going deep in the vault for a cover. Dark Angel – Time Does Not Heal Artillery – 7:00 from Tashkent / Khomaniac Annihilator – Imperiled Eyes Cyclone Temple – Words are just Words Metal Church – Line of Death Same here. Cynic – Uroboric Forms Toxik – World Circus Exodus – 30 Seconds / Seeds of Hate Tourniquet – Tears of Korah That's what a cover album should be- faves by the artist that might introduce the listener to a new band they will love. One f the reasons the HammerFall cover album is a fave is that it introduced me to both Pretty Maids and Chastain. Thanks man. I wanted to include formative influences on me as well as great artists that I think we could do a good job with that need more recognition.

| BTW, I have already worked on our reimagining of Painkiller and Heart of a Sunrise and have preliminary demos. They are reinterpretations, making them more "Temple of Blood" style. "Painkiller" is more similar but thrashier. "Heart of the Sunrise" is of course VERY different and more of a speed metal tune a la Realm.

| No one has mentioned the Hollywood Vampires project. I really enjoyed that album a lot. Of course, being an Alice Cooper fan helps!
I also agree with Lari's comments about the Iced Earth tribute album. It could have been so much better, even with the tracks they chose. I was most disappointed in the Blue Oyster Cult tune, Burnin' For You. That could have been really cool with Iced Earth's classic sound and instead, they chose to reproduce the original arrangement.
