| Man that was quite the epic game last night. I was afraid that if the Dodgers lost that one then they were going to get swept. This could be a turning point for LA. | |

It was epic!! I hope it is a turning point for LA. They didn't give up. What baffled me was why Alex Cora risked using David Price last night.

| At least now we have a series. I hate Boston but I'm not a big Dodger fan either so I basically wanted a good World Series because I'm a huge BASEBALL fan! I'm sure if the Dodgers had lost last night this would have been a sweep and that would have sucked on multiple levels. And after all the players used last night, tonight's game should be interesting.
Go Dodgers. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Some questionable pitching changes from Dave Roberts tonight. This game got ugly fast after Rich Hill was taken out. | |

| NFL Red Zone.
They just mentioned that this is the first time in sports history that five major sports leagues have all had games in the same city on the same day. Today in LA, the NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL and MLS all have games. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Well that World Series totally sucked. And not just because Boston won; more because it wasn't even competitive except for game 3.
But let's face it; most honest baseball fans KNEW the AL was the superior league this year so regardless which teams made it to the WS, the AL would be the likely winner. Hell, I think Cleveland, Houston OR Boston would have whooped Chicago, Milwaukee or LA in the World Series. The talent level is just so out of proportion right now. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| It sucks if you're a pure "baseball fan" like I am because while I obviously have teams I like and teams I don't, I watch random baseball games all season so when it comes to the World Series, if the Cardinals aren't in it I only really want a close, competitive series. Which this sure wasn't.
And it's not a knock on the Dodgers because as I said, I don't think it would have mattered which AL team was in the WS against any NL team because right now the talent in the AL is just far superior.
Hopefully free agency shakes that up a bit. Of course, it could make it even worse. Can you imagine Bryce Harper in the AL? _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Boston and Houston both won over 100 games. No NL team did that this year. With the exception of the Yankees the AL just naturally hit better and pitched better. They played small ball so to speak. Where as the Dodgers and some other NL teams seemed to be swinging for the fence. If Bryce Harper ends up a Yankee, how would you pitch to that team? Anyway, here's to baseball in 2019!!
