| Brewers vs Dodgers again.
Fascinating game so far; Milwaukee doing another "bullpen start" and lots of defensive changes. Dodgers just tied it up at 1-1 in the fifth. Interesting game to watch if you're into strategy.
Kershaw has been much better this game. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Kershaw has been much better this game. He definitely pitched way better than he normally has in the post season.

| If we end up with an LA/Boston World Series I am DEFINITELY a Dodger fan for a variety of reasons. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| And it sure looks like we're getting the Red Sox in the WS. Which means I don't really care who wins the NL, I'm for them to beat the Red Sox. I HATE New England teams! _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Ryu looked terrible. Smoltz is right, he had to be tipping his pitches somehow. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Not quite, at least for me.
The Dodgers were my Dad's team. And he passed away this past Labor Day. Fortunately because LA had traded for ex-Cardinal David Freese over the previous weekend, I asked my Mom to talk to him during my weekly Saturday phone call to my parents. Of course I had no idea that would be the last time I ever spoke to my father but I'm glad the trade gave me that opportunity. He and I always talked baseball on those weekly calls.
All that to say "Go Dodgers!" I've always hated the Red Sox anyway and I was really hoping the Brewers would face them since I don't particularly like the Dodger's version of "Yankees West".
But now I have no choice; I hate Boston so "Go Dodgers!!!!!" _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Yeah that is the only good thing for the Dodgers (for me), Freese being traded over to them. He's a good guy and deserves another shot at a championship. | |

But now I have no choice; I hate Boston so "Go Dodgers!!!!!" Yankees West?!? Everyone still thinking this because of the trade with the Red Sox a few years ago? All of those guys are gone now! My parents and myself included have always rooted for the Dodgers. Since my Dad passed away back in August I'm really hoping that LA can pull out a WS win. Even though it would be bittersweet.

| $180 million payroll is why they get the Yankees West tag, although the Red Sox are even worse. They're over 200 million. Amazing what that much money can get you. | |

If I'm not mistaken the SF Giants payroll is up there too. Yes Boston has a high payroll as well the Yankees and some other teams as well.

| Last night I saw the Blackhawks get the living tar beat out of them. An NHL record 34 shots against in the second period. Goalie Cam Ward saw more rubber in that single period than Stormy Daniels does in a week. | |

Yeah, my "Yankees West" tag has nothing to do with any specific trade. It's more that the Dodgers have so much money that they can buy whatever they need just like the Yankees and Red Sox. But that said, LA is still my team in this WS. And you and I apparently have something in common here nevermore; your Dodger fan Dad passed away in August and my Dodger fan Dad passed away on Labor Day so I say GO DODGERS!!!!! _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
