Saxon kicks bunghole! MOTORCYCLEEEE MAAAAAAN! I need to purchase Wheels of Steel dammit.

A while ago someone mentioned a band called Oliver Dawson Saxon, with a guitarist from Saracen. This left me totally lost in the wheels of confusion. What is this band, and does it have anything to do with Saxon?

Graham Oliver and Steve Dawson (whom were original members) got the
boot and did not want to give up the name. After a few years in
court, it was decided tht Byfords Saxon got to keep the name and Oliver
and Dawson could attach thier names in front of Saxon and record and
tour under that moniker. Thier stuff was not bad, but the live
album sounds like a Saxon tribute band without Biff singing. They
also put out an album under Saxon's original name - Son of a B*tch.

saxon are a very good trad metal band i will agree. i only have saxon, the eagle has landed and some other album thats title escapes me but are all very good
