Deliverance - Camelot in Smithereens Re-record

Yesterday Jimmy Brown posted a question to the D fans about re-recording Camelot in Smithereens, originally this album was to be a concept album and essentially the label raped it into the good album we have now. I guess next year Jimmy is considering or exploring of re-recording Camelot and releasing it as it was intended. Which from my understanding would make it a totally different album

Anyone hear or read the FB post?

No idea. I haven't heard the original version but would be interested in a new one. That way I could pick them both up and play them back to back and see which one would be better. Don't have a lot of D albums, I have the first 4 and Hear What I Say.

Meh.... Didn't care for that album the first time around, no interest in a re-recording.

Yeah, it was a snoozer imo.

I think I may have liked one song from that album.

Maybe if he rewrote the whole thing and beefed up the sound it could be worthwhile...

I liked it when it initially came out. I didn't feel it was lacking anything. But, I'd be interested to hear the original idea for it.

It seems interesting. Sometimes things dont turn out the way you might have wanted. Can you say Visions Of Hell? I think it would be cool....

While I didn't care much for Camelot, it's pretty cool what Jimmys doing with the whole package. It would be a nice collector piece.

I quite like this one, it was the first one by them I got post thrash era so it took me some time to warm up to it. On it's own merits, I think it's a fine lp...
