I have definitely gotten infinitely more picky as I've gotten older. Back in the day, I would drink anything that would give me a buzz. Now, I want a whole lotta taste and I don't really care whether I get a buzz or not. Fortunately, with microbrews, not only do you usually get a much better taste but you also usually get a higher alcohol content. Best of both worlds! _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Really? Wow, it's usually the other way around
I went thru my "picky phase" in the 90s (when I was single and therefore had enough disposable income to afford having expensive tastes, haha). There are still things my Inner Beer Snob will not go near (Budweiser in any form, Corona, etc.) but otherwise I'm pretty much open. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Is Carlsberg Danish? If so, that's good stuff. Off the top of my head, I cant' recall any Danish beers other than that. Maybe if you name some names... ?? Just got back from camping in the Poconos this weekend, and a case of Yuengling Lager (Pennsylvania's Finest!) died for my enjoyment. Yum yum. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

LOL!!! At least you didn't spend that much on the skunk beer, Corona - Mexico exports most of that junk to the US and keeps the Sol for themselves! LOL!

Just got back from camping in the Poconos this weekend, and a case of Yuengling Lager (Pennsylvania's Finest!) died for my enjoyment. Yum yum. Carlsberg is indeed Danish, and one of our finest breweries! I think Carlsberg is the only brewery that is internationally marketed....then theres Tuborg, but that is also owned by Carlsberg. I personally prefer Carlsberg over Tuborg.
