| So I am trying the Miller Genuine Draft 64 thing. It's not bad.......for alcoholic water.
But I am trying to watch my weight and each of these beers are only a single point on Weight Watchers. Score one for the fat guy! (shut up, Freddy) |

Rubbish that stuff...you wouldn't catch me dead with that New South Wales crap. We joke if Tooheys was made down here (Victoria) with our water it would be half decent.....but it's made with stinky Sydney water. Other than VB the best beers in Australia are the Tasmanian beers like Boags and Cascade....the quality of water in Tassie is excellent and it reflects in the beers.

| Freddy, take heed the calorie count in these beers!
Pabst Blue Ribbon = 152 Calories Coors Original = 148 Calories Corona = 148 Calories Budweiser = 143 Calories Miller Genuine Draft = 143 Calories Guinness Draft = 125 Calories
You're a big boy so I'm sure the 152 calories a 12 oz can of PBR gives you gets burnt up in a yawn or a fart, but I was amazed at this. |

| I saw that calorie count for Guinness in Men's Health. That's amazingly low. Sam Adams Lite is about that but Guiness is a real beer. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Fatty McMarshall is drinking Beck's Premier Light tonite. Another 64 calorie beer. This is leaps and bounds better that MGD 64. But still it tastes like alcohol tinged water, which is dangerous. I feel as though I can drink about 18 of these tonite. I haven't drank 18 beers since the early 90's. Geez. |

| We went out for dinner at an Applebee's over the weekend so I finally tried that "Blue Moon" beer that everyone seems to be so crazy about. It wasnt' bad, but nothing I would go out of my way to have again. I was also mystified as to why they served it to me with a big slice of orange (!) floating in the glass. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| That orange slice is pointless. I like Blue Moon because it's American made and it tastes good, which is an anomaly these days.
Had a sixer of Sierra Nevada Wheat Beer over the weekend. It was OK. Just OK. |

I guess it's kinda like Corona always being served with a slice of lime. I'm of the mind that if you have to add a piece of fruit to a beer to make it taste better, it must not be a very good beer to begin with. You shouldn't have to "improve" a beer's flavor with any outside ingredients! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Went back home to Indy this weekend and bar hopped from 12:00 P.M on Saturday until 1:00 A.M that next morning. Nothing like 13 hours of beer drinking.

You shouldn't have to "improve" a beer's flavor with any outside ingredients! LOL! I agree. The problem with Corona is that it is packaged in a clear bottle - sunlight damages and "skunks" beer, so you need the lime to kill the skunked taste!

| I got in an argument with a kid at work awhile back about Corona... I called it "piss water" and he got all up in my face like "Hey, don't talk about Corona like that, it's MY PEOPLE'S beer!" (I assume this means the kid is Mexican). I said "If you want to drink GOOD beer from 'your people' you should be drinking Dos Equis, not that Corona sh*t," he couldn't argue with that. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Did he stand on a chair or something when this happened? He was a pretty short kid, now that you mention it, but no. So the effect wasn't nearly as terrifying as he probably hoped it would be. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

LOL!!!!!!!!!! I bet if yoou had Corona in a dark brown bottle, it would taste a whole lot better!!!!! Heinekin has the same issue in the US - the green bottle skunks the beer (lets the infrared light in). Heinekin tastes alot better in Holland!

| I consumed a near-obscene amount of beer over the holiday... between 5 PM Christmas Eve day and 5 PM Christmas day, my brother and I killed a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon, an 18 pack of Miller Genuine Draft, and a few other assorted odds and ends that were hanging around in the back of the fridge... plus I still have a 5-liter "mini keg" of Heineken (gift from an office mate) and a 22 oz. bottle of Arrogant Bastard Ale chillin' in the fridge just waiting to be cracked. Now I come in to work today and find a six pack of Blue Moon Winter Ale sitting on my desk from another co-worker... I love this time of year, everybody wants to get me drunk!! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
