Man that song rocks! I remember when White Devil Armory came out a poster on here (can't remember who) said that Overkill sounded tired. Nothing could be farther from the truth. They sound strong as ever.
These guys have been knocking Thrash Metal tarballs out of the park ever since Immortalis - and then some!!

I'd love to pick it up today but my only option is Best Buy and apparently they only have the vinyl version of it. Not good for me.

I saw that too. I can't believe they have no cds in stock at all, only vinyl.

There's a Best Buy store on my way home but I'm not even gonna bother with them. There's a little hole in the wall indie music store on the same route that'll have it for sure. Of course I'll probably over-pay for it, but sometimes you gotta bite the bullet for the sake of convenience (and to give the little guys some business).
I had actually hoped to stop in that CD store on my way home last night cuz sometimes they put new releases out a day or two early, but we had a snowstorm so I didn't even go to the office, I worked from home via remote login... pffft. Thanks, Mother Nature.

Just for the heck of it, I checked Best Buy's web site and they still have The Grinding Wheel listed as a "pre-order." According to them, the album comes out on 2/17 (a week from today). WTF? Everyplace else shows its release date as 2/10.

I listened to it yesterday. The first half is absolutely smoking! So good. I have to hear it a few more times but I'm sure there will be several songs off of this one that rank among my top Overkill tracks. "Shine On" really stood out on my first listen.
