The Voice contestant murdered

I can't say I was familiar with her music, and I don't watch The Voice, but this was a very tragic event.

Given that another, much higher profile shooting happened in Orlando Florida the day after this, one has to wonder what the f*ck is in the water down there...

Mrs. Sentinel remembers her as she is a big fan of the show since day one. Sad. I just don't understand the world anymore.

And after looking thru the shooter's computer and home files they have found no motive whatsoever. Crazy man, crazy.

My wife likes it too so we watch it every season I like to make fun of it but sometimes, just sometimes theres some good ones on that show like this past season's 3rd place winner Leif al Saadi hes a guitarist, did some blues and classic rock for his songs during the season.

Anyways I remember her but just the name

I learned on the NintendoAge forums that she was known as zeldaxlove64 on the internet and was a big video game enthusiast. One of her performance videos has her singing in front of a Sonic the Hedgehog and Link poster. As a lifelong gamer, I'm sad to hear. Most pop singers of her type wouldn't really mention their affiliation with the nerd culture, so to speak. I also hear she was a committed Christian and as a fellow believer, hope she is finding peace with the Lord now. It seems from her website that she was gaining traction in the music world after the show, but sadly, it just wasn't meant to be.

Also, Stacie Orrico (who was a big influence on Grimmie) posted a heartfelt RIP and a picture of the two of them together from 2013. Stacie sort of disappeared from the spotlight, so it's good to know she made some kind of impact on people's lives.
