Another album I know nothing about...

"Catherdral Spires" for me. I also like "Bullet Train."

I haven't really listened to any Priest in between Turbo & Nostradamus. Maybe I should.

I went with Death Row, but this is somewhat of a personal favourite album. I like all of them just finw, except Blood Stained. That one just drags on.

I've never actually listened to this album. I only know Cathedral Spires from it, and it's a good track, but I'm not gonna vote on another one of these until Angel of Retribution.

And if I'm being honest, I don't have any real desire to listen to the Ripper Owens-fronted Priest anytime soon.

I hadn't heard anything by JP after Painkiller until a few weeks ago in preparation for this poll. Wow, this album is different. With the new singer and sound I would never think it was JP. Not my style at all. None of the songs are catchy or memorable until the last song, "Cathedral Spires." That song I really like.

Cathedral Spires for me. I also like Burn In Hell.

I like "Bullet Train" and "Cathedral Spires" but I'm gonna go outside the box and vote for "Burn in Hell." I like the sinister build-up in that one.

tough call. never had a specific favorable track. I like the album's aggressive vibe as a whole.

I've always kinda dug the title track, so I'll vote for that one since noone else has yet. 'Cathedral Spires' is good though too.

Some interesting things going on musically.

I like "Burn in Hell" best.

I picked "Bullet Train" but not by a lot. I really love "Burn In Hell" and "Cathedral Spires" and have had both on many mix tapes in the past. This is a pretty underrated album in my humble opine.

After my tenth poop I picked Cathedral Spires.

I really like "Cathedral Spires" like everyone else here, but I'm going to go with "Bullet Train".

Cathedral Spires followed closely by Bullet Train. Two songs I wish Priest would continue to play live. Saw the Ripper-era band and loved it!

That's the next album. Jugulator at least has a few redeeming qualities. Demolition? Ugh. "Which form of torture would you like for your death? Here's 13 choices."

Funny, I'm the opposite. I only found one song I like off Jugulator, but found a few favorites off Demolition and liked that album much better overall.

Not to derail the thread about Jugulator, but I will have to spin Demolition later today or tomorrow in prep for that poll. It's honestly not one that I play a whole lot and really only remember "Machine Man" at the moment.

Spires.

Okay I've just listened to this record for the first time just now so my opinions are based on one listen but it's not a terrible record at all. It kind of reminds me of a modern Metallica record, lots of cool riffs and some nice ideas but the songs are weak. It does pick up towards the end and the last three tracks are the best ones.

I voted for Abductors


Now I have to go and listen to Ram it Down & Painkiller and everything in between this and Nostradamus.

Cathedral Spires has my vote.

Cathedral Spires, great song, but the rest of the album seems to be heavy just for the sake of being heavy. Not as horrible has I once thought it was, but outside an odd bit here or there, its not very memorable outside of Ripper Owens vocal performance.
