RIP David Bowie

R.I.P.

I can't begin to express what a huge influence and comfort he was in life, thru his music

I have to say, it's kind of strange how Lemmy died within the past couple of weeks, and now David Bowie is dead.

Both died of cancer, and both died less than a week after their birthday.

Scott Weiland would have been especially crushed... Bowie was his idol.

I just read that the Westboro Whackos are talking about picketing the funeral.

Since the Reaper seems to be on a binge lately I wish he'd do the world a favor and harvest some of their worthless souls.

Those heartless frauds have nothing better to do than mock dead people. Did they care about the souls of people while they were still alive? No!

Excuse me while I try to recover from that shocking news . These people claim Christianity, but I doubt they ever read a complete bible. They'd probably protest the funeral of an evangelical who was known to be left handed, drank a glass of wine every night and saw a movie once a week.

From what i understand there is not going to be a funeral for David Bowie.

Blackstar is a great album, he knew his time was close at hand. Even the album title indicated that. So sad he's gone

He was never much more than a "greatest hits" kinda artist for me personally, but his impact on the music industry was endless. I was very shocked to read the news of his passing.
