| I like a lot of David Bowie, but unlike most bands, I like his hits more than anything else. I have a couple of best of releases and that's it.
Scary Monsters was good album. Ziggy Stardust is a solid album as well. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| The newer ones....from "Earthling" forward see to recapture that arty vibe that "Station To Station" "Scary Monsters"and "Hunky Dory"...all those great platters had...
I saw him live withNINE INCH NAILS in 95' one of the best shows I ever was privy to behold...seriously. The man is a master....and does he age at all? _________________ "Oh man, I need TV? When I got T Rex"

| David Bowie great artist, Aladdin SAne is a great choice and has one of my Bowie songs "Cracked Actor"
I like all his albums expect for "Tonight", I just feel that David Bowie was trying to hard to replicate his successful 'Let's Dance', 'Never Let Me Down' also has a few dogs on it.
His later albums 'Earthling" and the 'Hours' still shows an artist who is unafaird to go to unchartered musical waters, something that he has been unafaird to do his entire career, one of the few artist unafaird to follow their artistic muse no matter the cost it may have on his album sales.

| He's another ive been thinking of getting albums of. Cause I do like a lot of his songs. I was checking out stuff on itunes the othernight and Im sitting there thinking to myself these were great songs when I was younger why dont I have any of these. I saw one of his used for like 2.99 but I didnt have too much money to spend since I already had a couple of other things. Im sure it'll still be there though next time I go. Once I start completing some of my wants i'll probably start on Bowie next. Ch Ch Ch Changes..... _________________ | |

| Never Let Me Down actually I think is a good album I know alot consider it a flop but I really dug it Tonight is a good album too Its got Tina Turner and Iggy Pop on it, I've been working on my music site (I used to have a music site similar to nolifetilmetal and metal metropolis) and ironically ive been working on my bowie section still not done, I think I am missing maybe 4 to 6 studio albums in having his entire catalog, but anyways I was thinking i needed to pop in Tonight since its been awhile Earthling and Hours are good albums too Low Is an awesome album too | |

| I like pretty much all Bowie, but the Young Americans album contains one of my all-time favorite tracks "Fame", which is about as hip as it gets. I really don't think there's any era that doesn't work for me. I also love the Tin Machine albums and think they are very underrated. |

| Tin Machine albums were extremely under rated and the critics blasted those albums. I thought they were great albums that this was Bowie's heaviest band since the Spiders. The video to Tin Machine's 'Under the God" used to get a few spins on Headbanger's Ball and Hard 30 on MTV. | |

| Pretty much all eras work for me, but like ive said my favorites are Ziggy, Low (which I think is underrated) and Diamond Dogs
Young Americans is alright not my first choice to spin but Fame does kick some butt John Lennon and Bowie that must have been awesome
Aladdin Sane is one Ive never quite been able to fully get into and its one album ive been dying to dig I do like some stuff on it but i dont like it like I like Ziggy and Low
Tin Machine is good too, the only thing with Bowie Im not crazy about is when he covers a song like his cover of the Beatles Across the Universe and Lennon's Working Class Hero both songs i really dig the originals but Bowie's version just didnt do it for me.
Im gonna have to spin Aladdin Sane again

| I have to agree on David Bowie's cover versions, of course he did try to take on songs but some of rock's greatest songwriters. | |
