Are they even a band anymore? I have 3 or 4 of their albums and according to Amazon it looks like the last one was released in 2014 and I don't have it. They just sort of fell off my radar as "Rob Zombie Clones' which isn't surprising since "Spider" is RZ's brother.

No idea if they still exist. I picked it up just cuz of name recognition - they got a lot of ink in Metal Edge mag back in the late 90s/early '00s due to the White Zombie connection, but I never actually heard'em back then. It is very derivative of WZ, except that WZ's inspiration was schlocky horror movies, and PM5K's thing is schlocky sci-fi movies. It's not bad but I don't think it's gonna be a frequent spinner. (Kudos to whoever gave'em the idea to cover the Cars' "Good Times Roll," though, cuz that song is badass.)

I like the two albums after Stars Revolt more but they were still fairly derivative of the WZ sound

I like the first half of that Europe album. The rest is pretty forgettable pop rock.

I've never really been much of a Europe fan either way... I just like that song "Superstitious" that kicks off this album.

My CD Baby order arrived yesterday...
Hessian - Bachelor of the Black Arts Iron Driver - Prisoner of Time Suede Brothers - s/t Rychus Syn - Rebirth Rychus Syn - Deadly Syns
Cool 70's style metal with some female vocals. Some leads are done by the male guitarist too.

Gamma Ray - Insanity and Genius (25th Anniversary Edition) (2 Disc)
How's the package? Booklet and bonuses
Very good. 12 page full color booklet with lyrics and an essay and some cool photos. 3 panel digi for both discs and booklets. It's funny, I also have the 25th Anny of "Heading for Tommorow" and it's a 2 disc set but comes in a thinner digi that doesn't have the plastic trays for the discs. But it's a part of the same reissue run as the others. Lotsa great bonus stuff on disc 2, rare live and demos with Ralf on vox.

Most recent purchases:
-Manowar- Lords of Steel (Hammer Edition) via iTunes...this album is soooooooo good!
-The Dogs- Fed Up! CD. Re-buy. Outstanding proto-punk from Detroit.
-Dead Boys- Younger, Louder & Snottier. Original mix of their first album, which is a punk rock classic.
I actually ordered this on CD because for some reason Amazon wanted 11.49 for the digital download. Well for 20 cents less I got a hard copy I can rip.
I've noticed Amazon has been inching their download prices up. That's pissing me off. The only reason I started paying for the download instead of the CD in the first place was because the digital version was usually 3,4 or even 5 bucks less. But now it's getting to the point that the digital version is usually only a dollar or two cheaper than the CD + shipping price. And in this case it was actually a few cents more expensive than a CD.
If they keep this up I'll go back to buying the hard copy.
