Tonight was my weekly stop at Goodwill cuz everything in the store is 20 percent off on Mondays, so the CDs (usually 99 cents) are only 79 cents. Picked up two more:

Velvet Revolver - Contraband

Days of the New - s/t (aka "I;" cuz apparently these guys were pretentious a-holes so all three of their albums were self-titled.)

The VR is a good album, but the Days of the New is awesome! You got the first one right (yellow cover)?Not a bad tune on there.

Yeah, it's the yellow one. I honestly don't think I've ever heard'em before, I know they got a lot of love from Metal Edge and other rock mags in the late 90s. I think Metallica took them out on tour with'em at least once too.

When the CD is only 79 cents, I figure what the hell, if it sucks, then it's trade bait Very Happy

I have 3 Days Of the New discs (and yeah they all have that same goofy tree album cover but in different colors). I haven't played any of them in years but I remember thinking their music sounded a lot like Alice In Chains unplugged.
