They've even tried using blood to make Reigns sympathetic but no dice. That's what happens when creative tries to cram someone down the publics' throat. Remember when they tried to make The Rock and Stone Cold heels? That didn't work either. Time to cut bait and just turn Reigns heel. I think I might actually be able to get behind him in a heel role. Just play up how poorly he was received as a "good guy" and use that as his motivation for turning heel.
That would also set up a lot of natural feuds with guys like Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.
Was listening to the Jim Cornette Experience podcast and he went into details about Roman being "busted" open and it was clearly visable he was handed something by Byron. Turns out it was a blood capsule. Cornette went off on the use of that tactic saying it would've been better to just blade because capsules look too fake.
Go to 1:38 and turn the music down (it sucks).
BTW, I recommend the Cornette Experience, it's one of the best wresting podcasts out there.

Jim Cornette is another great wrestling mind. And he's one hell of a story teller too.

Hell has officially frozen over. Zack Ryder is the new Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania.

Holy crap, they put Jericho over Styles???? Vince and his stupid booking because he resents anyone who had success outside of WWE.
And yeah, the Ryder win over Owens for the IC title is beyond stupid. I can almost guarantee Owen will win it back in a week. Vince LOVES these temporary title swerves apparently not realizing how much they irritate the audience and diminish the title.

Yeah, the Jericho win happened right after my post. I like Jericho, but he in no way shape or form needed that win. He may be getting paid better, but Styles would have been treated so much better in TNA.

Terrible booking all around for this Mania. Almost all the fan favorites lost - Styles, Owens, Banks, Ambrose, The New Day, Shane-O-Mac, etc... The Styles finish was unbelievably stupid and Reigns was booed out of the arena. It was so bad that WWE was manipulating the sound to tone down the booing. What was point of the Ambrose/Brock match? What was the point of Taker/Shane? Why in the world is Zack Ryder given the strap? I look forward to him losing it tonight on Raw. I cannot stand the Rock at this point. He is adept at killing Manias. Go away please. Also, good job making both the League of Nations and The New Day look like geeks all so we got to see Foley, Michaels and Austin. Ridiculous.
Remember when Bruno came out at the end of Wrestlemania 17 and kicked Austin's ass? Of course you don't because that didn't happen, but it's exactly what they are booking now.
Why does this company hate its fans so much?
The good news is NXT Takeover was amazing and completely blew Mania out of the water.
To make things even worse, because of their stupid booking I lost the Golden Sheik trophy at our Wrestlemania party. Damn you Vince McMahon!
Between my newfound love of the show "Gotham" which starts at the same time as Raw and baseball season starting back up again I may just stop watching Raw altogether. It's just not worth it because all it does these days is piss me off with its stupid booking.

I wondered where the boos for Roman were. Should have realized they did something to drown them out. I did notice that the cheers for HHH were stronger than the fake ones for Reigns. Despite the whole, "I'm better than you, you're a loser" speech from Stephanie, there was no hate from the crowd. Also she looked freakin' hot in that get up.
I agree on the horrible booking, but I wasn't surprised by anything save the Jericho win.
At least a fresh face won the Battle Royal. Though because of his size, it wasn't surprising.
I also agree on the Rock's presence. Though I've never been a real big fan of his shtick. It would have been the perfect time for Cena to turn heel but that'll never happen. Though I'm curious as to who would get booed more in a feud. Cena or Roman?
At this point I bet Cena would be cheered in a feud with Reigns. The WWE Universe is just so sick of having the guy crammed down our throats for the last couple of years. Sure WWE did the same thing with Cena but it's been over a decade so we're used to that.

So Gotham is a rerun tonight for some reason (the NCAA championship game maybe?). As a result I'm watching Raw. ZZZZZZZZ....
So far a whole lot of nothing has happened on this show. About the most interesting thing was the debut of Apollo Crews. The guy looks to be as strong as an ox yet can do a standing backflip into a pin.
And the boos for Reigns just continue. There were some subtle signs of him finally turning heel ("I'm not a bad guy, I'm not a good guy...I'm THE guy!"). That sounds heelish to me.
One can always hope....

I already like this new tag team up from NXT. I didn't catch their names but there's the smaller, mouthy guy doing most of the talking and the big 7' guy who called the Dudleys "sawft". Funny stuff! It really helped that the crowd seemed to know who they were and were into their schtick.

I'd argue what's the point in giving it to The Miz? He's long since become a joke character. Not as much as Ryder of course, but Miz lost all credibility years ago.
As for that tag team you mentioned, I saw them in the joke Network special Roadblock (did anyone really think Ambrose would have beat HHH for the title?). The smaller guy is Enzo Amore and the big guy is Colin Cassady (Big Cass). I didn't watch Raw yet so I'm not sure if she was there, but when I saw them, they were accompanied a chick named Carmella who is actually the real life girlfriend of Cass. The crowd seemed to really like them and they were pretty impressive in the ring.

Carmella has not been called up to the main roster. Why? I have no idea because she's great and adds a lot to the mix. Enzo and Cass are great and remind me of the New Age Outlaws with their catchphrases. Overall, last nights Raw was very enjoyable. Also, it looks like they are finally either turning Reigns heel or having him do the aloof tweener that doesn't give a damn what the fans think thing. Either works for me.
I'm watching the Hulu version of Raw and while it hasn't happened as I'm starting to type this, I see LoN turning on Wade Barret... Yup, they did. Looks like his contract is finally up.
Also, a face turn by the Wyatts. Maybe they'll start wining matches now. Also just noticed Bray's hair is turning into dreadlocks.
JBL said, "They boo who they normally cheer..." in regards to the crowd on Raw booing Roman. I wonder what the weather's like on his planet?

I just dont understand why they couldnt let Zack Ryder have a title run I dont think the Miz is in the same league for the IC belt or for the WWE title either
According to WWE.com, WWE Hall of Famer Blackjack Mulligan (real name Robert Windham) has passed away at the age of 73. Mulligan is the father of Kendall Windham and WWE Hall of Famer Barry Windham, father in law to Mike Rotunda and the grandfather of Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt. Blackjack had been hospitalized Florida, and had been battling health issues for years.
I used to love Blackjack Mulligan. Big, burly tough Texican. Or at least that was his persona. I think he was another one who got the "censored" treatment in the early days of WWWF TV. He'd slap on the claw and they'd show about a minute of the opponent writhing then put the big, white "X" over the screen so you couldn't see the blood.

If the denial from the announcers that Reigns isn't over is bad enough, I find out this from a report from a guy who was at Wrestlemania from this article:
