| I gotta say this brand split is freaking ridiculous , got people crossing lines already "invading" the other show. I bet the only reason why they did this was to give out more title belts kinda like participation trophies. Its freaking ridiculous | |

| And I read an article yesterday saying "Creative" is already not happy with some of the draft choices and is thinking about shifting guys around. We all knew this was going to happen but even I didn't think it would happen this fast. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| In other words, John Cena is going to be back on the Raw brand in a few weeks. Escaping the purgatory that is Smackdown. | |

| I also saw where during a commercial break during Raw Cena and AJ came out and did a "skit" during the break that wasn't aired. So they are continuing to cross brands but then do it when it isn't on live TV. Same ole same ole... And Joey Styles seems to have been fired for not liking the name of the "Universal Title" and talking smack about Roman. Hey, he is just telling it like it is because the rest of us feel that way too. | |

| They have been bringing out Raw/Smackdown wrestlers in dark matches on the other shows every show since the split. This is not new. They did it at the first Raw after the split which I attended - AJ, Cena and Ambrose were all on that show. Their plan is to do this until the rosters fill out to send the fans home happy at the end of every show. No big deal. | |

| I miss Joey Styles. His over the top commentary was perfect for the ECW product. That screechy "Oh my GAWD!!!" call just fit the insanity in the ring. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I dont think Cena's releativity is at the scale it was, he's not even in the title picture which is fine.
I cant wait for Orton to kick Lesnar's ass heh maybe a football punt to the head?

| Some observations I have:
I hope Rusev isn't fed to Roman on a silver platter. It took him a long time to get built back up after being buried by Cena (lost 3 matches in a row if you recall) and to end it that quickly would be a mistake IMO. Let him at least win more than one match against him.
In his match with Del Rio on Smackdown!, Orton totally mis-sold a move. Del Rio punched him in the face while jumping off the top rope and Orton actually grabs his shoulder.
I'm glad Cole finally mentioned that the actual tag team title record belongs to Demolition.
So I take it Corey Graves is our new heel commentator for RAW. Guess he can't do worse than JBL (who we still have to suffer with on Smackdown!) or the new and un-improved heel Jerry Lawler.

http://www.cagesideseats.com/2016/8/11/12447334/aron-rex-fka-damien-sandow-debuts-on-impact-shoots-on-wwe I just find it hard to care anything about Impact. I don't have Pop! but did have Destination America and I bailed long before DA dropped it. I used to watch it every week on Spike and DA for a while but now just don't care. I hope Rex does well there as he was so under-utilized in WWE.

Now that it's on Thursday nights (which is frequently an off night on the Cardinals schedule) I've tried watching it but I just can't really work up any enthusiasm for Impact either. Maybe if it was edgier I'd be more into it but as it is it's just like a poor episode of Smackdown. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I can only get WWE or TNA if I download, as right now can only afford a telephone line and internet, and only order merch/dvd's from anybody if at a decent price, I was blown away watching Sandow this week, best mike work from anyone in a long, long time. Yes, TNA kind of seems like Smackdown, but so what? At least it ain't like that crap they call RAW. probably i am alone here, but, nxt smackdown impact raw

| I wish I got NXT. I hear glowing reviews of their shows all the time. But I'm not paying 9.99/month just for that.
Good to hear Sandow put on a good performance. I really think WWE missed the boat on him when they had him doing a Lanny "The Genius" Poffo knockoff gimmick where he'd come out and promise fans a $100 bill if they could answer three "simple" questions. Of course the first two really were simple but the third one would be something only a savant would know. Then he'd mock the fan and brag about how he was bringing intelligence and class to the WWE Universe. It was golden. But as usual Creative dropped it and went with the whole "Mizdow" gimmick instead. Ugh. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| When the Dudley Boys returned, I remember many lamenting that we wouldn't see Bully Ray with a WWE run, but I think that's exactly what we're going to end up getting. Twice now Devon accidentally hit Bubba Ray and each time Bubba stared daggers at him when the match was over. I think they're getting ready to break them up again. I know that Devon had come out of retirement for this run and I suspect he may be ready to go back which would leave Bubba for a singles run. | |

| Another thing about Del Rio. What Culture pointed out in a video that in his Smackdown! match with Cena, he was wearing his El Patron tights (his outside WWE name).
Also, apparently Eva Marie violated the wellness policy as well.

| Is it just me or does it look like WWE is using the "Wellness Policy" to cut loose a lot of dead weight and/or "problem" employees.
Isn't Eva Marie the one who has her own announcer and comes to the ring as "The Red Chick" or something like that? She caused a distraction the other night that cost Naomi if I remember correctly. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Knew Apollo would not get the win. It's too early to give him a title.
Confusingly, Charlotte gets her title back in the rematch with Sasha Banks. Then I read Sasha is going to be out recovering from an injury. That's gotta suck. BTW, the match itself was very good. I'd say the second best match of the PPV (the best next).
Cena vs. Styles is a match of the year contender for sure. An incredible match from both competitors. I usually just do other things during a match but this one had me glued to the screen. Say what you want about Super Cena and his 5 moves of doom, but it was obvious this wasn't just Styles carrying him. Cena actually did very good in this match and let's face it, he is capable of doing so. It's just usually Super Cena overshadows his ring work. Kept thinking they were not going to let Styles win and at best would give him a questionable victory and was glad they gave him the clean pin.
All the building they did for Ambrose against Ziggler and it turned out to be a very boring match and a burial of Ziggler who barely got any offense. Of course after the incredible match between Cena and AJ, it would have been very hard to top it.
Confused on the beatdown Reigns did to Rusev. Wonder if they are trying to get sympathy for Rusev and heat for Reigns, or to get Reigns some cheers showing him to be the ass kicker people wanted him to be.
Rollins vs. Balor was an OK match, but following the Styles/Cena match didn't do it any favors.
All the hype for Orton and Lesnar and all we really get is Brock making a bloody mess of Randy Orton. I'm wondering if Orton bladed. I know it's been banned by WWE, but most of Brock's forearms were blocked by Orton's forearms and only a few made actual contact.
