My brother gave it to me for Christmas also. I have listened to it about 10 times so far. I really, really like it.

I received it from family for Christmas as well. I like it actually and find it to be reminiscent of mid 80s AC/DC. That is fine with me

Tune in Sunday, February 8th for a live performance from AC/DC at the Grammy Awards. Or tune in to YouTube on Feb. 9th to watch it without all the other nonsense.

Finally picked up this CD last week and it's a good'un. Fave tracks at the moment are the title song plus "Dogs of War."

It's a solid AC/DC release. I like it better than "Black Ice."

Great album, kinda a funny story for me. I live in a small town area, so new releases are hard to come by here at home. The day it came out, I went to Kmart almost at closing time, so the CD had already been in the store the whole day. So I go straight to electronics to "scrounge" one of the probable last copies in the store and I see no new CDs....I then turn to the teenager working there and ask him for, so he looks in the same places I did, with no success, he turns around and says "I know we had a bunch of them, let me check in the back" Well of course while I'm waiting for him to return I continue my desperate search for this long awaited album I wanted, I looked behind every CD in the new releases, and thinking to myself this was truly a "Rock or Bust" moment for me, and as the rock gods felt sorry for me I finally found one! It was strayed in the back of a thick stack of some new country album no one wanted (Jason Aldeen) and as I whipped it out of there the teen employee came back with a sad look on his face, started telling me they were out, I interupted the kid and I said "I found one"! "yes"! I paid the guy, and off to rock heaven I went.....and yea, not too much excitement in my neck of the woods..... Lol

BTW, special thanks to Aldeen for saving that copy for me! I really like "Got Some Rock & Roll Thunder" and "Rock the House" the title anthem is tops too. Much better than Black Ice, Stiff Upper Lip, and Blow Up Your Video IMO!
PS: not big on the cardboard record like album covers, but the hologram front is pretty cool, neat booklet too, surprised lyrics were not in it considering how thick it was....

Heard the title track and another song on the radio yesterday. AC/DC, pretty much always sounds like AC/DC, but this one seems to have a lot in common with Fly On The Wall. Honestly, the thing that stuck out most to me was it sounds like Johnson's voice was autotuned.

Seems to me the newer music before Rock or Bust has Brian's vocals louder than it should be, not only that but maybe the band tried to write the best music for his singing? This new album sounds like Brian's vocals are more in volume with the music. I think Stiff Upper Lip really suffered with Brian's loud and tired sounding voice.

The last AC/DC album I heard from beginning to end was "Blow Up Your Video". So, the vast majority of the newer material I have never heard a note of. Generally though, Brian always sounded bad on the most recent stuff I have caught. << music and vocal wise, that's pretty much how I feel about new music from AC/DC.
