New Faith No More album set for 2015

I've been a fan for years, and I'm really stoked about this.

I'm a little iffy because my favorite albums had Jim Martin on guitar, but I'm definitely going to give this one a chance. The new songs that they have been playing live are awsome.

YES!! Can't wait! King for a Day is my favorite, almost worn it out.

I knew this would happen eventually. Saw them on their reunion tour. Awesome.

I'd forgotten all about that.

Sadly, this image has two individuals who are strongly missed in their absence - albeit absences taken for different reasons.

It's nice that they're back. But it's too bad it won't be "the real thing".

That's how I see things myself. FNM kind of dropped in my rank of them post-Martin but I still liked them.

I really loved Faith No More when I was younger, but now Patton just annoys me.

I'm with Shawn, i recently reacquired Angel Dust, which was always my favorite by them, and couldn't make it through the whole thing. Patton has an obnoxious method. Guess I'm getting old haha.

Doubt very much that's the case. You're around the same age as me, and I still love that album to this day.

Very true. I think the music really is phenomenal. Kinda wish i had done isolated tracks.

Patton is a giant ego-bloated turd, but Faith No More really have no bad albums, even the pre-Patton albums, though those are certainly their worst.

Still, I think the Patton/Martin era was their best. A destructive but very fruitful marriage, I guess. Shame they couldn't continue making music together. It would be cool if Martin did some more solo stuff. His one solo album is decent.

I love how no one knew what he really looked like under the hair and glasses. Every time someone sees him now, it's like, "Wait...that is Jim Martin?" Haha.

Really? Patton always seemed like a pretty down-to-Earth kind of guy - at least these days. I gather he had some deep end moments around Angel Dust, but he works with damn near everyone and I don't know of a single instance of someone going, "F$#@ that Patton guy!" after making an album with him.

Patton is one of the most overrated singers in all of rock music.

I still like Mr.Bungle much more than FNM, but if FMN was on the tell, I wouldn't turn them off.  New album in principle sounds good, as long as it's solid, it's ok with me.

Eh, no thanks. Never much of a fan to begin with and this track ain't gonna change that. And count me in with those that think Mike Patton is a pretentious turd. Dude annoys me.

No speakers on this PC so I can't listen to the new track, but I gotta say, the comments thus far aren't exactly encouraging. Haha

Funny this comes up cuz I just dug out my age old cassette of The Real Thing a couple of days ago, hadn't heard that album in dog years. Still sounds pretty good.

I remember Angel Dust threw me for a loop back in the day (i.e. "WTF is this?") though, and I never got into any of the stuff that came after that. They got too damn weird for me, really quick.

The Real Thing is the only FNM I own. I like that one from time to time, but I never felt the need to dig any deeper.
