80s Metal Lady, thanks for reminding me of some other great tracks Numan had around that time. His post-Telekon almost ambient vibe are really unmatched. It's this knack for "vibe" that drew me to him in the first place when I first picked up a copy of "Pleasure Principle." It sounds like nothing else released before or since. Shame he's kind of started to get into a "paint by numbers" mode with that kind of thing.
Two other really solid pieces of work from him were "Poetry and Power" off of Warriors, with some really nice contributions from Bill Nelson; and (though technically not a b-side, but a non-album single) "Stormtrooper in Drag." SiD basically templated half of what Marilyn Manson did on Mechanical Animals to my ears.
BrokenTulsa, thanks for the Jorn track. Not a cover I would have expected, but he does it very well.
And Uncle, the song title alone for that Judybats track would have sold me. Very interesting stuff.
So, three more to add in.
First, one of the Priest bonus tracks (Turbo-era, I believe) that stick with me even if it's not exactly high poetry:
And, one of the best (and weirdest) Alice Cooper tracks from the box set:
Oh, and lest we forget: the song that should have made it on Hear in the Now Frontier:

Pretty good Bonfire song that was I think a B-side from Knockout:

When I met Gary Numan, I mentioned to him how he would re-invent himself every third album or so back in the day. He admitted to being "in a rut" now, but he really likes the music he's been doing. I thought that was a very honest response.
You've heard Gravity Kill's cover of "Poetry And Power," right?

Both bonus tracks from Pile Of Skulls
Yes, Running Wild had amazing B-sides on all their CDs that had them. My favorites are "Libertalia," "Cannonball Tongue," "March On," and "Hanged, Drawn, and Quartered."

Thought of some more stuff, Y&T's Unearthed sets had tons of great unreleased songs, far too many to list here, I also liked quite a bit of the stuff on the Bon Jovi box set.
There's also one from Ozzy I really like, in this case it's the demo version of "Walk on Water" from the soundtrack to the film "Beavis and Butt-Head Do America", the song on the soundtrack was actually very different to the one featured in the film, which despite being the demo version sounded a lot better, that version is only available on the Prince of Darkness set:
