Need some technical help (slightly related to HoM)

On my PC, if there are pages with lots of embedded youtube videos (such as certain pages on this very board), it usually causes my computer to freeze or work slower at least. Is there any solution to make it so this doesnt happen as frequently (my browser of choice is firefox btw)?

That's pretty much how it goes with anyone since the videos take forever to load if there's an abundance of them. Chrome works faster for me but I still have the same problem regardless. I always thought it would be cool to have a function to keep the videos hidden by something like a spoiler link. Or perhaps that's something we can already do; I haven't tried it.

You fail to specify your processor speed, available memory, available hd space, etc. All of this has a LOT to do with such situations.

If you're using Firefox, there's a plugin called "NoScriptPlus" that you can install. Just "block" anything from Youtube.com unless you're intentionally pulling up a video and it should prevent those from loading at all.

Especially if you're running a slow computer, that may be a crude but effective workaround.
