The two rather forgotten lp's by the band, quality held in question by many, virtually unheard of by the casual fan...

Never Say Die is far better as a whole, in fact I think it's one of their more interesting albums from a stylistic standpoint. TE has some good songs but also has a few clunkers as well. Still, I always want to have both of those records in my collection.

I think TE is stranger, so probably that one.

Some years ago I would've went w/TE, but I really grew to like NSD more, some great tunes on there for sure! Never the less, this was one Ozzy hated!

Would really like to cover this one in the band, doubt if I could talk the guys into it though...

I like both, but Technical Ecstasy gets my vote, probably the Sabbath LP that I played the most last year, and considering they released a new record last year that's some going.

Even though he says he hates that lp, was not proud of it, he still chose the title track for the "Speak of the Devil" lp...

Never Say Die is a brilliant song, one which for me, overshadows the rest of the LP.

Air Dance owns all, what a flat-out brilliant track and also features some fine piano courtesy of Don Airey.

I went with Never Say Die, mainly because of Air Dance. I love that song.

+1, the first half of the disc is interesting. Personally a really good if not great Black Sabbath album, TE I like it but it took me a long time to warm up to that album

Technical Ecstasy, I like both albums but TE for some reason has always been one I really dug.

Ding ding ding!
Or actually, "acronyms".
Would it have killed to type the album titles out? I kind of figured out Never Say Die, but TE? Made me think of football. Right, Technical Ecstacy, but I had to think about it (and go through all Sabbath album titles in my head)
There's a balance between typing fast and making oneself understood. If 50 people read what you type, and they all take 5-20 seconds to figure out what you mean by an acronym, is it worth saving 2-3 seconds of the original poster's time?

Just listened to these two back to back and I now refuse to choose. I love both of these records now as I never over played them as a kid.
