| Manowar's Battle Hymns might still be their greatest album. Sign of the Hammer is amazing too but I'm not sure if that's better than their debut.
Walls of Jericho is also the best album Helloween has ever made.

Walls of Jericho is also the best album Helloween has ever made. But it was preceded by the Helloween EP. Which apparently is an album, because albums are albums but also EPs are albums.

Oh yeah, that's true. Haven't heard it though. I wonder if it's a better package than Walls of Jericho. It has some great songs but it lacks the amazing How Many Tears. By the way, Wikipedia calls it an album ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helloween_%28album%29 ) so this must settle the argument whether EPs are albums or not Hmmmmm... Even if we'd say EPs should not count, what should we do with Walls of Jericho.. The original vinyl had fewer songs than the 1987 CD release, which was a combination of the Helloween EP and the original Walls of Jericho, thus basically a different record. So, if someone thinks the CD version is better than the original vinyl, technically he can't say Helloween's first album was the best even though technically it is I wonder if Manowar had any odd EPs before Battle Hymns

I agree with you. But this is also the only PF album I like...so take that for whatever it's worth. I don't get the appeal of this band. But I do dig this record quite a bit. I don't own it, but my brother is a major Floyd dude, so I borrow it from him from time to time.

| I usually prefer 2nd or 3rd albums, here's a few that come to mind with debut ruling them all:
Exodus Nasty Savage Candlemass Tourniquet Tankard

| Good call on the Candlemass, everyone. I should've thought of that. As for Crimson Glory, I can't decided which one of the first two is better... | |
