Hahaha, I'm terminally sick of "Don't Close Your Eyes" after a quarter century of overplay, and "Tear Down the Walls" was... well, just a pale carbon copy of "Don't Close Your Eyes," in my book.

I like it a lot more after multiple spins

Not really. But on first listen I thought it was kind of monotonous. But the more I listen to it, the more the hooks sink in. Which of course is my primary component when listening to a new album...memorability. After the initial listen I thought it was good but kind of "samey" but repeated listens are setting the various hooks.

I'm listening to this album right now. Any one of these song's would fit nicely in their set list.

I've only listened to about half the album so far. Not impressed with the songs or the production.

I saw it this weekend at Wal-Mart for $10 but for some odd reason, I didn't pick it up. Still not sure why.

This record has all kinds of grown on me. I retract my earlier statement that it wasn't super awesome.
The whole thing rules. Even the ballad is ok. A lot of new releases don't get many spins from me as time goes on, but I can see this becoming a record that stays in rotation even after the newness wears off. "Can't Stop the Show" is my favorite track.

This one will make my Top 10 for the year. Probably in the top 5 even.

Ok I finally got this and have to say it's a good one. Certainly fits in with the rest of their discography.

KIX actually shot an honest-to-goodness music video for "Wheels in Motion" off the new album. How quaint. I didn't think bands actually did those anymore.

Spiffy!! Good for them. This is a really good album and deserved more recognition that it got. When anyone discusses "great comeback albums" this one should be right towards the top.

Cool. I'm glad to see these guys still kicking. Probably seen them about a dozen times during my teenage years and early 20s. In the no-mans-land between Midnight Dynamite and Blow My Fuse it seemed like they played the local DC/Virginia/Maryland market about once every 2 weeks.

Their new album ended up being my album of the year in 2014
