Some recent additions...
Nic Armstrong & the Thieves - The Greatest White Liar
Fans of the 60's British Blues Movement might dig Mr. Armstrong and his cohorts
Very Yardbirds/John Mayall inspired new take on old blues.
I snagged that from a used bin a while back. Quite a nice surprise.
I'm really enjoying it. That disc and The Strypes are refreshingly retro.
I missed that you'd scored something from The Strypes. I picked up their Blue Collar Jane EP recently and I really dig it.
If you like the Blue Collar Jane ep, get the Snapshot album. More of the same retro goodness. Look around though before you purchase. There is a standard and a deluxe import version with bonus tracks. Make the smart choice.
I posted some Strypes videos in the retro thread I believe.

What is this exactly? I feel like I've seen this band mentioned somewhere else recently too.
4 young kids (all teenagers) from Ireland that play old-school style blues rock and R&B. Like old Yardbirds or John Mayall kind of old school.
I love that style of British blues rock, so this stuff is right in my wheel house. They even have the look with the big hollow-body guitars, haircuts and suits. They look like they just walked off the set of 'Hullaballoo' circa 1966
Bump for Eyesore. I thought I posted these in the retro thread. Nope. Here they are. Try it, you'll like it.

I don't know how acquainted you are with the Zep, but that one doesn't have anything unreleased in it.
According to the track listing, there's a couple of unreleased things on it.
I wasn't after anything obscure anyway...I just wanted, as you put it, a good collection and, at 54 songs, this was a great deal for $20.

Yeah, they're definitely on my want list. Will look for the deluxe edition for sure.

A rare flea market find for $3
Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother
Also picked up another cd rack for $1. Cleaned it up and touched up a few dings with some black spray paint and it looks like new. Blends right in with the rest of my racks. I don't think the wife even noticed it.

I was just listening to their last one today and it occurred to me that that album was 2 years old so I looked them up on Amazon. Lo and behold...this one came out last week.
I have all their albums as far as I know.

I'm an idiot.
Amazon has a "special edition" of Meliah Rage's Kill to Survive "plus 4 bonus tracks!" Really, it says it right on the spine, exclamation et al. The Sony "Metal Works" logo is on the front (I'd had success with their Balls to the Wall release with some cool extra live tracks) It was 10 bucks, and I'm sitting here all durka-durka thinking holy shit it's the lost sessions that was supposed to complete the album one-click purchase yeeha! I got it today.
The bonus tracks are the first four from Solitary Solitude. Nothing more.
I already have both albums.
Durka-durka indeed.

And the Reverend reissues are on their way. Now I just need Vanderhoof and one more Presto Ballet and my Metal Church collection will be complete (although I could go all the way with Disney's Camp Rock since Duke played bass on it).
