I bet he's big on Killen though.
That's one band whose name I've often seen being mentioned, but never gave their music a shot. Looking at their photo on Metal Archives, I'm assuming they're somewhat in the same league as Warrior or Attila.
Killen is a long time running gag 'round here. They've kinda become shorthand for "overrated crap," haha.

As mentioned, I've only gotten these since I was last here:
While Sunstorm only had a good sophmore release and two sub-par ones. All three PV albums are great pieces of melodic hard rock. Weird since they share the same song writers. I had some credit card points which is the only reason I got this.
Might be better even than the last one. Stu Block is incredible here and the songs are really tight. I really love the cover of my favorite country song The Highwayman. I got this using my tax return when I got a new laptop (my last one would shut off anytime I was on the internet more than five minutes).

Some recent additions:
Black Label Society - Catacombs of the Black Vatican (Deluxe ed. w/2 bonus tracks) Fleetwood Mac - The Complete Blue Horizon (6 cd box set) Fleetwood Mac - Then Play On L.A. Guns - Shrinking Violet Reverend Horton Heat - REV Matt Sorum's Fierce Joy - Stratosphere
With those Fleetwood Mac discs, I believe I now have all their releases with Peter Green at the helm.

Yeah I was elated as I was browsing the rack. I've always been a compulsive thrift store shopper--but I've never once gotten that lucky!

For some reason, I woke up this morning thinking today was record store day. It isn't. Record store day is next weekend. However, I didn't realize this until about 10 minutes ago. Not that it matters. In my small city we don't have record stores anyway. Not even one. So in celebration of what I thought was Record Store Day, I drove to the Flea Market which is about half an hour away and picked up some used vinyl for a little less than three dollars each. This is what I got:
Black 'N Blue - Without Love (Man, I like this album! Always have. Paul Stanley, I love ya, but let Tommy breathe a little. The man can really rock when you let him!) Pat Benatar - In the Heat of the Night Celtic Frost - Cold Lake Magnum - Wings of Heaven UDO - Animal House (Still Sealed) Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak

Exodus- Fabulous Disaster, for like the 20th time.
It's okay though, since it's one of my favorite metal records.

Found this crappy video on YouTube...
There is a Blind Rhino band on Amazon, but I don't think they are the same guys. This Blind Rhino is blues rock.

Wow, I haven't seen that Hyrda album in ages. I have that on vinyl that I bought from a "budget bin" I think.
