For a buck or two apiece in the scratched section of compactdiscount.com. Funny thing is there's not a scratch to be found on any of the discs. Going to revisit this site often. Shipping was dirt cheap, too (less than Amazon).

I'm going to listen to this on Spotify, but I can't imagine getting into a new EC record.
Destroy the Machines was the last thing I liked. Gommorah's Season Ends was the last thing I bought. Breed the Killers was the last thing I heard.
All Out War and Firestorm are the only ones I still play.

I've loved all their albums. I hated Gommorah's Season Ends when it first came out, but now it's probably my favorite. It was just so different, you know; still heavy, still hardcore, but pretty unique at the time, and it took me by surprise.
Anyway, I like that they try new things. The last few have been more "metal" than past albums. This new one has some different flavors, too, like the more melodic singing in the video I posted.

I will try and approach it with an open mind. I may even re-vist GSE, as I haven't really heard it since I bought in...97? I was just so disappointed at the time, but I was a vegan straight edge 18 year old, and I really only cared about hardcore and didn't want to hear something different.
I'm also gonna check out that Ringworm record. The cover art is awesome. I know they aren't exactly the same as they were in the 90s, but it's cool they keep putting out records that people apparently like. I haven't followed them heavily.

Ringworm now pretty much sound like a more metal version of Integrity, as opposed to just sounding like Integrity as they had in the past. Great band, though. And yeah, try GSE again. If it's been that long, it might hit you differently. It's definitely a unique album.

Not really a new haul as I had already owned these at some point, but my grandma found a case of about 40 CD's that we thought had been lost ten years ago. Not going to list all of them here, but some highlights:
Petra - entire discography Holy Soldier - s/t and Last Train Phil Keaggy - 220 Joshua - Surrender Europe - The Final Countdown Skillet - everything up through Alien Youth Yes - The Ladder
Ironically enough, there was also a clean copy of my original Fear Not purchased back in '94...and I just spent 40 bucks on a new copy.
