There's plenty of people that have tried to sound like Max Cavalera and Phil Anselmo, but IMO, none of them really do.

It's almost impossible for extreme style vocals to sound unique. It's all pretty much generic sounding. It's really only a matter of, can they do it well? The only way some are really going to sound unique to you, is if you are only a fan of a small handful of bands that have that extreme vox.

First time I heard Max he sounded like Tom Angelripper. He got a slightly more unique sound later on but by then, people had started copying him. My problem with Sepultura is twofold, one is that I still have my vision of what Sepultura is (the cool Brazilian guys with the cool band that we used to write to in the tape trading days) and with only Paulo Jr left from those days, it just isn't Sepultura any more. Two is that their musical style changed in a direction that I didn't particularly like after Roots. Fair play to them but it's not for me.

Some parts of this new song are okay but others i dont really like. Today i have played KAIROS and thats a good album. Everything they released between that cd and CHAOS AD i never liked.

This review on blabbermouth seems to say most of the album is right in line with Kairos and the two before it. Good to hear

This album is great! Very heavy. Here's one of my favorites:

Dude, the heck are you smokin'? The whole album is peppered with random noise that is neither musical, interesting or unique IT.SUCKS The Derrick Greene screeching/yelling has gotten more annoying than ever, tenfold this is even worse than SOULFLY's worst

Whatever man, the Green albums aren't for everyone but I've enjoyed almost all of them and this one seems to be right up there with my other favorites (Against, A-Lex, Kairos.)
Most of the reviews I've seen have been positive as well so I know I'm not alone in liking it
