Their latest album comes out next month and here's the first single:
Pretty excited for this as I've loved the last couple. Apparently Dave Lombardo is on one of the tracks as well!

Not bad (musically)... but I think the new Soulfly song is a lot better.

Sounds good. The new drummer certainly has chops. I didn't expect them to go with Robinson again though. I thought his signature sound was pretty much out now days.

I still have Roots and Blood Rooted, I put together a playlist of songs from those two releases that I enjoy jamming once every few years.
Max was really my favorite thing about Sepultura, I've just never been able to adjust completely to the new lineup. Still good, but I just feel like one of the primary ingredients is missing.
I do LOVE their cover of Bullet The Blue Sky though!

I draw the line after Chaos AD, but I erase it before Kairos. That album was unexpectedly good. I really liked it and in no way anticipated that I would. It definitely had it's stupid tribal moments, but for the most part it's really good.

According to Amazon, the title of the new album is "Mediator Between Head & Hands Must Be the Heart".
Dumb title, man.

I totaly agree. I also stopped following SEPULTURA after CHAOS AD, a album i liked. Then i listen to KAIROS and i bought it straight away, a really good album. Their is only one song i dont like (that sound like RAMMSTEIN) but the rest is pure thrash heaven with cool riffs etc..a must have cd. Let hope that the new one is good again.

Here's Kisser's explanation on the title, I think it's kind of cool although still ridiculously long for an album title: http://loudwire.com/sepultura-title-release-plans-13th-studio-album/

And that's the hilarious part. He's been in the band longer than Max was! Shame people can't accept that, because they've released some damn good albums without him.

I can accept it, no problem there. I just don't want to listen to it.

99% of the vocalists we all listen to are generic-sounding.

Ima bet you can't name nuthin'
by your logic, Pantera is generic too since most Nu-metal bands sound like them

So you're changing the rules? If Max's vocals were unique back in 1986, that means his vocals aren't generic now? My point was, Max's vocals aren't unique in any way.
And I'm not sure when Pantera ever sounded like nu-metal, but okay.

I've yet to hear an exact copy of Max's voice. Especially with his trademark accent. Heavy vocals seem natural to him while other guys sound like they are forcing it.
