What book are you currently reading?

I was given a box full of Louis Lamour & Max Brand paperbacks. So I'm on a western kick right now.

Anger Is An Energy: My Life Uncensored by John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten)

I bought Ron Keel's book - "Even Keel". Twenty bucks, signed, EBay.
It's not that good. He wrote it, with no ghost writer helper.
I was spoiled by Crue's "Dirt" and Aerosmith's " Walk this Way ".
Nothing of interest in over 300 pages....just skims the surface...
Only a few pages concerning Malmsteen...believe it or not....
not much said about the L.A scene...or other bands...
A lot of insignificant details and time structured things....
Not much said about Gene Simmons....who produced Right to Rock...
Steve Riley played drums on the entire thing....but quit for WASP...
He did join Black Sabbath....but they decided against him....
I think Keel was married three times...has kids...
Didn't bother to hear him toot his horn about the country western years...
He was a cocaine \ whiskey \ cigarettes guy....

Lemmy: The Definitive Biography by Mick Wall

Got it for Christmas, but had another book to finish before I started this one. It's ok so far, but between the Lemmy documentary from a few years ago and his own biography, 'White Line Fever', I'm not learning much that I didn't already know. Maybe it'll get better as it goes on. I'm only 100 pages in.

I finished Titan Screwed by James Dixon and now read Morningstar by David Gemmell, since last year i started to buy all his books in english again (german translation is shockingly good for fantasy books but it's way better in the original language)

"Lives of the Desert Monks" - killer stories from Egyptian monks in the 4th century.
Translated by a nun, published in the 1960's -70's ?
"Watch You Bleed" - another Guns and Roses book but written by Stephan Davis !
Davis has written some great biographies. He has a wicked sense of humor too.
