| I've read about four books in my entire life, just never got into it... but my mom recently got a new kindle, so she gave me her old one. I'm starting with The Hobbit. I'm about halfway through right now and I'm really enjoying it. | |

| I just finished - Bernard Cornwell - The Archer's Tale
I am now reading this: Bernard Cornwell - Vagabond
These are books 1 and 2 of Cornwell's four volume series on the Hundred Years War. His stories are about an Archer - Thomas of Hookton - who is present for the great battles of the age - Crecy, Poitiers, etc... Coupled with that are usually a story of some holy relic that Thomas is trying to find - The Grail, St. George's Lance, etc...
I highly recommend this series and just about anything Cornwell has written if you like historical fiction.

| Only Death is Real - An Illustrated History of Hellhammer & Early Celtic Frost (Thomas Gabriel Fischer & Martin Ain) This is a great book for HH/CF fanboys like me, good biog with a ton of really interesting photos, press releases, rejected artwork etc. The other thing that can be said about it is that it is a HEAVY book. Not in a literary or visual sense, but in a drop it off a tall building and you're killing someone sense! | |

I am currently reading 'She's Come Undone' by Wally Lamb A friend loaned me The Bell Jar and said that it's a must read. And so far I must agree with my friend as I've had a hard time putting it down.

| just finished Robert Plant,A Life by Paul Reis. Very good. Decent price I guess, but worth it it if you read books more than once or will have others also read it. It fills in some of the holes that I didn't get from other Led Zeppelin books. | |

| Just finished these two:
The Hardcore Truth by "Hardcore" Bob Holly - if you've ever wondered what the life of a perpetual mid-card/jobber wrestler was like, this book is for you. It's one of the more interesting wrestling books I've read as it really lays out how the business works financially as well as the politics/customs of the locker room.
Heretic - Bernard Cornwell - this is book 3 of the Grail Quest series. Very enjoyable historical fiction from the master of the genre.
I am now reading:
A Distant Mirror: The Calamitous 14th Century by Barbara Tuchman - great history of a tumultuous period. The 14th century was host to the Black Death, the 100 Years War, the Little Ice Age and the Avignon Papacy.

| Just finished re-reading "Charles Manson Now by Marlin Marynick" Great read, the book explores the relationship between the author and Manson himself, and is truly a unique one. As the author, Marynick, travels to visit Manson, (He hoped to learn why one person's suffering may lead them down a path of destruction and evil, while another's may take them on a completely opposite path.) he meets people whom are all connected to Manson in some way; fellow inmates, collectors, archivists, former family members, musicians and ATWA members. Has about a chapter or two worth of writings from Manson himself. Now onto re-reading "Peace and War" by Leo Tolstoy which is a personal favorite of mine. | |
