- Started reading "Parasite" (or perhaps it's "Parasites," I'm not 100 percent sure and I'm too lazy to go check) by Mira Grant - another medical sci-fi/horror thriller from the author of the "Newsflesh" zombie trilogy I read earlier this year. Good stuff so far.
Oooh I enjoyed that Newsflesh trilogy... Currently reading 14 by Peter Clines. He is probably my new favorite fiction writer, I cant read the Ex series fast enough and this one is starting well and the premise is intriguing.

That's a good one. Read it earlier this year. It's really well put together for the most part, with quotes usually building well on the last.

| Walking Dead, Compendium II.
The more I read the comics, the more I laugh at the children's story of a show. It doesn't get any bleaker or nihilistic than this, kids.

| Miguel Cervantes - Don Quixote (I'm about 30% through, this mug is a big boy). So far, way better than expected. A lot of the ancient books/stories are rough to slog through, but this one is funny, very, very witty and feels at times contemporary. Recommended! | |

On deck: Men of Tomorrow: Geeks, Gangbusters and the Birth of the Comic Book by Gerard Jones That On Writing is quite a book. I'm not a big fan of King's style but his approach to the creative process and how he addresses it is moving. Love that book.

| a HOT sex book! actually it is pretty tame, just has some eyebrow raising because of who she is. She includes a couple details that were already in David Cassidy's book. Shirley Jones 2013 A Memoir also reading The Day of the Triffids By John Wyndham. I think I read this in my Grade 7 homeroom class. | |
