Its inflammatory, yes, but ANTHRAX suck on levels only TRUE sucking knows.

I can't stand this pop/rap/Bon Jovi with more distortion band.

What that Anthrax, with anthem Bon Jovi choruses rule? Just my opinion, I hate them. So many good bands go unnoticed and drek like Bon Jovi on speed get top four on the big four? Like Exodus, Sepultura, Overkill, Kreator don't exist. Pop bands like Metallica and Anthrax so called big 4 of thrash? Metallica became a joke back in the 90's and Anthrax were always a joke.

Frankly, I think you are insane to compare Anthrax to Bon Jovi. It tells me you don't know much about Anthrax. Have you ever even heard "Fistful of Metal" or "Spreading the Disease" all the way through? It's hardly "pop" or "Bon Jovi with more distortion". Even the non thrash albums like "Sound of White Noise" can hardly be described as "pop" or "Bon Jovi-ish".

First one that comes to mind is TOOL! I just don't like them.

Everybody knows that Bon Jovi is the greatest metal band in the world, til I logged in and ready this insightful, thought provoking thread, I had no idea that those masters of metal Bon Jovi had influenced Anthrax ( Bon Jovi on speed indeed, sir!!!!!!), Metallica, and even inspired Venom to examine their own souls and accept Jesus as their personal lord and saviour

I would say Cannibal Corpse, I just find their music pretty listless, all their songs just run together and I can't tell one apart from the other.

Most death metal in general dosen't do a whole lot of me.


I'm not big on Tool either, I wouldn't even call them "metal", they're more progressive/art rock.

I enjoy quite a few of those bands.

I do not like Opeth at all though, they just bore me.


As for Puya, I only know them from the Heavy Metal 2000 soundtrack, they were OK I guess, but i'm not surprised they never became bigger then they were.

It would be much easier for me to list bands I actually like instead of bands I don't.

Well, in the metal world, I'm sure I could utilize just about any Iced Earth, Dream Theater, Baroness, or Opeth record (after 'Still Life') to completely cure any of my insomnia... well, I guess that isn't fair to Baroness, I don't feel grossed out by them, they are just one of a handful of doom-related bands that U.S. fans flip out over which I'm just not moved by at all.

I'm good with Spec's list except for 3 Doors Down. Some of their songs are catch and I like them but I now realize i'm a loser. Guess i'll check out some more bands on that list.
