The only flick in this entire series that I can honestly say I liked was "III: Urban Harvest," but despite that, I have seen every single one of'em out of some weird sense of duty. I've almost picked up this same exact set a couple of times at my local ShopRite cuz it's a hell of a deal (6 movies for 5 bucks?) but on the other hand, "III: Urban Harvest" is the only one I'd bother watching. It's also kinda stupid to have a package of the entire "CotC" series without the first movie. I know, the first "CotC" was made by a different studio than the rest and that's why it's not included in this set but stuff like that still bugs me. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Still bad, but I still watched it. I get on my wife for watching bad movies but I seem to do the same thing. Hypocrite.

Yea, I watched the remake when it ran on SyFy Channel. I seem to remember the evil kids chased that couple through the corn field for what must've been a full quarter of the movie. It was the longest foot chase I'd ever seen captured on film. I was like "Padding things out much?" I understand there's been an additional flick released (straight to video) since that remake too, but I haven't come across it yet. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Ahh, yes....Children of the Corn "Genesis". I haven't seen it yet because it came out around the time the last Hellraiser movie (sans Doug Bradley) came out and I imagine it may be a shit-fest just like that one. AVOID AVOID AVOID Hellraiser Revelations! At least with these older films I can watch them again and reminisce about the last time I watched them and didn't enjoy them. | |

I lost track of the Hellraiser series sometime after "Bloodline," which was the last semi-decent entry. I saw the one immediately after that ("Inferno") which was awful and haven't gone back since. ...though my Shop Rite also has a "Hellraiser Collection" set that's similar to your Children of the Corn set with "Hellraisers" III through VIII on it and dammit, I've been sorely tempted to bring that one home a few times now as well... _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I like the other Hellraiser movies for some reason, so that set is totally worth it. Hell just having Hellraiser III is worth your $5, IMO. | |

| I love the CotC series, as a whole.
Hellraier was fun up the end. I still haven't watched the most recent one, but I plan to one day. Hellraiser: Hellworld was fun as...hell.

| Last night I got: Don't have a Blu Ray Player yet but you don't get special features on DVDs anymore. I will be able to watch the Blu Ray when I visit my mom next. Then I got: Really had no urge to get this until I found out they are all matches from Bret Hart's early years (many never seen on WWE/F television). | |

At least Hellworld has Pinhead in it for about 2 minutes though but it's just sooooooo stooooooopid. But like you guys with the CotC series, I'm a devotee of the Hellraiser series so I own all of 'em; eh, at least the first 4 are decent. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

It's a blu ray AND dvd package. I know (otherwise I would not have bought it), but all the special features are on the Blu Ray. Most animated DVDs don't have the bonus material anymore (marketing ploy to get you to buy the most expensive format-obviously works, I love the bonus stuff on animated movies).

| Dallas, is the Dynamite Kid match on that Bret Hart set the whole match and not the clipped up one they had on one of those old WWF videos? I remember the match airing on Prime Time back in the day and thinking it was one of the greatest matches I'd ever seen. Hate when they edit matches like that. | |

I haven't got to it yet. Probably the full match as most of the DVD collections getting released keep the whole thing.

| "Girls, Guns & G-Strings: The Andy Sidaris Collection" If you watched late-night HBO or Cinemax in the late 80s/early 90s then you probably saw at least one of the late Andy Sidaris' low budget boobs-n-bullets action spectaculars. For the uninitiated, Sidaris' films followed this formula: cast a couple of Playboy Playmates or Penthouse Pets as FBI or DEA agents working in some exotic tropical locale, so they could wear swimsuits while on duty, battling bad guys who were usually played by has-been TV actors like Erik Estrada or Pat Morita. None of the girls could act, and the stories and scripts were crap, but that was OK...because who cares about a plot when girls are falling out of their bikinis or something is exploding every couple of minutes? Anyway, this set features all 12 of Sidaris' T&A 'n' TNT classics like "Hard Ticket to Hawaii" and "Fit To Kill" on three double sided DVDs. An absolute steal for only five bucks. As Homer Simpson would say, "sounds like gooooood watchin'." _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

I will be holding off on that one. Not just because of my spending freeze, but there is going to be the special extended version in November. I will be seeing it this weekend again though because my mom will be getting it and I will watch it with her.

| The previews in the Bond dvds I recntly purchased (begining with the Connery sets a month or so back) call The new releaes The Ultimate DVD Experience. Frame by frame enhancement and 5.1 DTS sound. The two Connery sets have a bonus "special feature" disc for all 6 films in both sets. The Roger Moore (two three disc sets) and P. Bronson (3 disc set) are just the movies with no second discs. I paid 9.99 for each set and 5 bucks for the single "The Living Daylights" with that other dude in it. I was hoping for the recent Bond flics to come in 3 pack set, but got "Skyfall" on Blu-ray" and the other two with Craig for 5 bucks each. That added up to 19 Bond flicks and I wondered if dude who did "The Living Daylights" made a second one ? Then it hit me, I remember they did a movie in between Connery flics with that other dude, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".
I'm gearing up to head out and do highway work (paving and new construction) in a few weeks and am will need some entertainment. Most of the work we do is out in BFE, so it's camper time after work. _________________
