The three new studio cuts are solid, especially "Kings Of The World." That's a great song. "Undefeated" is very good, too. "It's All About Believin'" is the weakest. Just decent.
"Kings..." is playing now...very Queen, IMO.

Cool. If you ever find a used copy of Leo Kottke's album "6 & 12-String Guitar" grab it, a classic.

I've checked out some of his stuff on YouTube, but never bothered any further. The disc was only a buck, so I figured it was a good time to take a listen.
I found out about him through the comic strip "Get Fuzzy". The cartoonist often puts Leo Kottke refrences in the comic, either through posters in the background or talking about his albums. The main character, Rob, is a fan.

Exactly what I said. Makes me wish Savage had penned more tunes for the band over the years.

Love Get Fuzzy (new book comes out in a few months)! The first time I saw it, I thought it looked stupid. However, after reading it for a while I grew to enjoy it. It wasn't instant love like it was for Pearls Before Swine, but it happened gradually.
All right I took it off topic for a short bit, now back to everyone's music collection.

Maybe...he also wrote "Love" which is also very Queen, but then he wrote "C'mon C'mon" which is kind weak.

I've only heard the single, which was kind of shocking. I'm afraid to listen to the rest. Haha. But it was $7.99 at Best Buy, so I took the plunge.

I like "C'mon C'mon" way more than "Love."

In Walmart today to pick up my new glasses, snagged Anthrax's Anthems EP ... looked for Stryper's Second Coming but no luck
By the way, I didn't know this till I read Witchfinder's blog review of the EP, but there are six different "covers" on the digipack (underneath the slip cover with the Anthrax "pentagram" or "Thrax-a-gram" or whatever they call it), in honor of the six bands that are covered. I got the one with the Boston-style artwork in honor of "Smokin."

I couldn't tell which version I got till I opened it. All I could see was some pale blue underneath so I thought maybe I'd gotten the Journey one too.
I suppose there are some collectors out there who will be OCD enough to run around trying to get all six, but I'm not one of 'em.

Yea I got the Boston one too. Seemed to be the only one around here but the only store I looked in was FYE. I haven't been to best buy or even wal mart. Im actually surprised wal mart had it. I would consider getting the other covers if I came across them for $1 but otherwise I can live with the one. The only ones I'd really want would be the Thin Lizzy and Journey.
