Truck driving will do me good. Anything that increases my potential income will help me with my music spending problem. Despite going for a near month long spending freeze, I ended up with all these:
House Of Lords-s/t ($7.99) Carmine Appice's Guitar Zeus: Conquering Heroes ($6.99) Rhapsody-Symphony Of Enchanted Lands ($5.99)*
Best Buy:
Anthrax-Anthems Adrenaline Mob-Coverta Soilwork-The Living Infinite Iron Maiden-Maiden England '88
*The had this one and Legendary Tales. I though I had SoEL and not LT, but got home and found out I had it reversed. Went back and exchanged them. Funny how my CD collection has grown so much in recent years, I actually forgot some of what I already had.

Love these guys. I had a few of their albums when they first got popular, but traded them back when Lala.com became so popular. In the beginning there were too many gems to be had through that site and I needed credits. I traded away a lot of stuff I dug back then. =(
Anyway, after their most recent album came out, I started acquiring them again. Great stuff.

Yea, I'm not completely sold on these guys just yet. I checked out some songs and thought they were a little hit & miss and stuck them in the "maybe" column. It just so happened that in my last 2 dumpster dive trips to thrift stores, I found 2 of their albums that I've spent a grand total of $3 on. I'll give 'em a shot for now. We'll see if they hold up.
They are the opening act on the current Pink tour. My wife caught the end of their act and said they were terrible. Just loud and noisy. But my wife has horrible taste in music, so what does she know.

She's probably right. They've got that punk thing going where it's more about the energy and chaos on stage.
Plus...Pink? Who thought that would go down well?

Well, despite her terrible taste in music, I've been trapped in the same vehicle with her when a Pink cd plays and some of the tracks aren't all that bad for a girl/pop singer. She's got songs that are more rocking than anything Katy Perry or Lady Gaga would do. Pink's got a little bit of an edge to her, if that makes sense. I guess someone thought that Pink & Hives make a good combo. Although anyone with pink hives should seek immediate medical attention.

I knew a lesbian marine in my automotive school that was obsessed with Pink. She actually gave us too much information once on how much she loved Pink. I won't mention what she said, but my inner reaction was: .

That was another oberservation my wife made. Pink has allot of "butch" fans. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
