These guys are awesome. Nearly 20 releases in just a handful of years, from doom to neo-folk psychadelia. Basically this...

Thx man, these will be my intro to the band. Doom, Stoner are where it's at for me.
These are probably not the best place to start, being that these are "warts and all" recordings. If you want to sample some of the official stuff, you can hear it all here: https://troglodytedawn.bandcamp.com

This may be old news to folks here, but I finally got around to checking out the archive.org live music archive and found a name that may be familiar to y'all.

If you even remotely enjoy atmospheric black metal, do yourself a big favour with the awesome Mare Cognitum. Name Your Price.
New Kroh single with the new line up. The biggest difference being they now have a female singer who really is great! (Gotta say, I liked the old singer too) The first song is brilliant, the second one is okay, I'll wait to hear more before I make up my mind whether the change is for the better or not.

I like it more already. Musically it's not so different, but the vocals are far superior to the gravelly/growly vocals on their other albums. Which are still great either way.
Hopefully this isn't a bandwagon change because of all the doomy bands with chick singers having a little success lately.

You have summed up my thoughts exactly, I really like the new stuff (more and more with each listen) but they don't sound quite as different to the rest of the bands as they did and even the cover art is a little cliche. That said she does have a killer voice.
